Dental Health: PPM with Professionals at their 23rd Conference

The Cambodian Dental Association, in collaboration with the World Dental Federation, organized the 23rd Dental Conference and Exhibition 2025 (CDAMEX 2025) over two days, on March 20 and 21, 2025, in Phnom Penh. This event brought together more than 700 national and international dental experts from ASEAN countries, and from Japan and South Korea.

This year's main theme was "Advancing Dentistry with Digital Technology." According to a press release from the Cambodian Dental Association, this annual conference aimed to share new knowledge to contribute to the development of dental biomedical skills among experts from around the world, in line with today's rapidly evolving technology sector. At the opening of the 23rd Dental Conference and Exhibition, Professor Lem Dara, Secretary of State and representative of Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, stated that the participation of renowned national and international speakers provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with the Cambodian dental community, particularly dental students.

While the Cambodian dental sector has made remarkable progress, Professor Lem Dara noted that the participation of professionals in the public sector remains limited. The Ministry of Health calls on all dental professionals and dental students to join the public sector to help provide accessible healthcare services to all segments of the population, particularly vulnerable populations living in rural areas.

In addition to discussions on dental technologies, the conference also included an exhibition showcasing medical equipment from 90 companies. Among these was PPM Laboratory, which regularly exhibits products for the dental sector. Ms. So Sophea, pharmacist responsible for promotion and training at PPM, explained that dentists were already familiar with PPM products such as Septyl, Kinal Ibufort and Spagyl offered by PPM.
